A VERY SUCCESSFUL FINANCIAL CASE STUDY COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY SZE
The National Financial Case Study Competition (OPEV in short in Hungarian) is one of Hungary’s most traditional competitions of this kind, which was organized for the 22nd time this year by Kautz Gyula Specialized College for Economics of Széchenyi István University. At the event in Győr teams from higher education institutions of Hungary and beyond our borders gave an account of their knowledge.

Following the online round, Kautz Gyula Specialized College for Economics of Széchenyi István University organized the in-person rounds of the 22nd National Financial Case Study Competition in the beginning of February. The programme was opened by Dr. Sándor Remsei, Dean of the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics, followed by Krisztián Kaisz, owner of Kays Kft., the company that provided this year's case study, who presented the principles of their company's operation. On behalf of the main sponsor, Tibor Kovács, Head of MBH Bank Corporate Business Centre and Dr. Tamás Vinkóczi, Director of the Specialized College Programme, welcomed the teams, jury members, coaches and organizers. During the competition the teams presented their solutions from the online round which were judged to be of high quality by the jury.

The special prize of the "A" final was won by Széchenyi István University, while that of the "B" final was won by the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
At the award ceremony, three specialized college prizes were awarded to Mónika Hamuth, Anikó Németh and Orsolya Pintes, students of Széchenyi István University, for outstanding professional performance. The winner of the crypto quiz, Adél Kovács, who is also studying at the Faculty of Business and Economics in Győr, was also honored.
