Israel's Ambassador to Hungary learns about the development of SZE
Yacov Hadas-Handelsman, Israel's Ambassador to Hungary at Széchenyi István University, spoke about Israel's geopolitical strategy. During his stay, the diplomat visited the former synagogue housing the University’s Faculty of Arts and the concert hall of the institution, and also attended the annual economic opening of the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The room of the Management Campus of Széchenyi István University was filled with interested students, where Yacov Hadas-Handelsman, Israel's Ambassador to Budapest, gave a presentation in English on the geopolitical challenges of his country and its geopolitical strategy.
The diplomat also spoke to the students about the new challenges created by the Russian-Ukrainian war and the Abraham agreements signed in recent years.

Yacov Hadas-Handelsman visited Széchenyi István University for the first time three years ago, and urged the strengthening of ties with Israeli higher education institutions. During the recent visit, Prof. Dr. László Palkovics, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Széchenyi István University Foundation and Dr. Eszter Lukács, Vice President for Global Strategy, pointed out that Széchenyi István University has since signed cooperation agreements with the Holon Institute of Technology and Bar-Ilan University, covering both student and teacher exchange programmes.
During his stay, the Ambassador visited the former synagogue housing the music courses and the concert hall of the Faculty of Arts of Széchenyi István University, where he met Dr. Bálint Filep, President of the University and Dr. Csaba Hontvári, Dean of the Faculty, and then attended the annual economic opening of the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
