Krúbi, Desh, Dzsúdló: Popular Artists to Perform at Széchenyi University Days
One of the most anticipated spring events in Győr is once again Széchenyi University Days (SZEN). The festival offers students and visitors a variety of sports programmes and games, with focus on entertaining audiences, featuring performances by Krúbi, Desh, T-Danny, Krisztián Fehér, and Dzsúdló on the Bridge Student and Faculty Club stage.
SZEN is the most popular event at Széchenyi István University, transforming the Győr campus into a hub of relaxation and fun alongside academic life. Over the past decade, the programme has evolved from a simple student event into a full-fledged festival, becoming one of the first major outdoor events of the season on a national level.
This year, several Hungarian music stars will take the stage at the Bridge Student and Faculty Club, with Krisztián Fehér, T-Danny, Krúbi, Desh, and Dzsúdló headlining the event. The four-day festival, taking place from 23–26 April, will also feature performances by Zoltán Bereczki, Ganxsta Zolee–Siska Finuccsi, Matyi és a hegedűs, and MC Hawer & Tekknő, alongside today’s most popular artists.
“As organisers, our goal is to ensure that every university citizen enjoys SZEN—not just students, but also staff—so they can proudly say, ‘This is why it’s great to be part of Széchenyi University!’ This year’s music lineup includes all genres, and for the first time, Saturday’s programme will be dedicated to the artists most favoured by our students. Of course, we also warmly welcome the residents of Győr and the surrounding areas, as the evening events are open to everyone,” said Dávid Vályi Nagy, President of the University Student Union.
He also highlighted that this year’s daytime programmes will bring several new additions, with a mix of free and ticketed events. The traditional Püspök Forest Run, dragon boating, dormitory dodgeball, and the International Food Festival will return, while a brand-new Rusty Picnic will debut.
Entry to SZEN’s evening concerts and parties requires a wristband. Tickets and passes can be purchased via the Bridge Student and Teacher Club website or in person at the AKIK office in the New Knowledge building.
