Leadec Ltd. celebrates 30th anniversary at SZE
Leadec Ltd. celebrates its 30th anniversary this year: through its predecessors, it has been providing industrial services to the largest Hungarian companies since 1994. The company, led by two alumni of Széchenyi István University, celebrated its anniversary in the University's concert hall.
“When Leadec Ltd. was founded, our mission was to become the backbone of the Hungarian manufacturing industry with our skilled and dedicated professionals. This goal has been achieved through three decades of continuous growth. We thank our dedicated employees, customers and partners for their contribution to this incredible development,” said Markus Glaser-Gallion, CEO of the Stuttgart-based Leadec Group, at the anniversary celebrations.
Two executives of Leadec Ltd., a company based in Győr, Ferenc Dákai, Managing Director, and Dr Ferenc Antreter, Financial Director, are both alumni of Széchenyi István University: the former earned his degree in electrical engineering, while the latter obtained his doctoral degree at the institution. The anniversary event was attended by Dr Ferenc Friedler, the University's Scientific Director and Head of the Artificial Intelligence Center, who delivered a welcome speech. In his speech, he noted that the quality, reliability, and sustainability characteristic of Leadec Ltd's activities are closely linked to the operation of the University as well. “Another similarity is that we can realize our success indirectly: we through the professional careers of our students, and the Leadec Group through the achievements of other companies,” he remarked, congratulating them on reaching the anniversary through collaboration, determination, and striving for the highest quality.

In three decades, Leadec Ltd. has grown to become the market leader in industrial services in Hungary, currently employing more than 900 professionals in nine locations: in Győr, Kecskemét, Szentgotthárd, Cegléd, Szeged, Makó, Szombathely, Debrecen and Budapest. With the acquisition of FISS Automatika Ltd. last year, the company strengthened its presence in all major industrial centres. The company offers client specific solutions for all phases of the factory life cycle. This includes various logistics services as well as electrical and mechanical installation, technical and infrastructure facilities management and maintenance of production equipment. The company's customers include leading automotive companies as well as major domestic pulp, semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical and petroleum manufacturing companies.
The international role of the Győr-based company has been strengthened by the establishment in 2020 of a service centre that provides administrative services in eight languages in the areas of procurement, accounting, controlling and marketing for sister companies in Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria and France.
