The MSc in Management and Leadership prepares future managers, entrepreneurs and organisational professionals to analyse, design and lead business and public-sector operations. It combines advanced management theory with practice-oriented learning in strategy, organisational development, human resource management, process improvement, decision-making and change. Graduates are also prepared for doctoral studies.
Structure of studies
The programme consists of four semesters and requires the completion of 120 ECTS credits. Of these, 105 credits are earned through compulsory and elective courses, while 15 credits are allocated to thesis-related studies.
The curriculum is structured around the following interconnected areas:
Economic, analytical and methodological foundations: students deepen their knowledge of economics, research methodology, quantitative and qualitative analysis, managerial decision-making and decision-support methods.
Leadership and organisational studies: the programme covers advanced leadership theories, organisational behaviour, organisational culture, organisational design, strategic management and the management of individuals and teams.
Human resource and organisational development: students study human resource management, competence and talent development, organisational learning, knowledge management and methods of organisational diagnosis and development.
Process, project and change management: the curriculum addresses the analysis, design and improvement of organisational processes, project management, quality and performance improvement, innovation, digital transformation, and the management of organisational change and crises.
Managerial skills and responsible management: practice-oriented courses develop students’ communication, negotiation, presentation, teamwork and conflict-management skills, while also addressing business ethics, sustainability and responsible managerial decision-making.
Elective courses allow students to deepen their knowledge in selected fields of management. The thesis courses support independent, evidence-based research and the practical application of the knowledge acquired throughout the programme. Teaching is supported by case studies, simulations, project assignments and company-related problems, enabling students to connect management theory with organisational practice.
One credit equals one ECTS credit and represents 25 hours of student workload.
