A lecturer from the Deák Ferenc Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Széchenyi István University, Lieutenant Colonel Dr László Vikman, recently took part in the preparation of NATO’s largest cybersecurity exercise, Locked Shields. The expert represented Hungary at the event held in South Korea.

he Győr International Frigyes Hidas Wind Orchestra Conducting Course was held for the tenth time at Széchenyi István University between 20 and 24 March. The professional programme, attracting international participants as well, supported the development of conductors through orchestral rehearsals and theoretical lectures, and was crowned by a closing concert.
With the support of the Ministry of Energy, Széchenyi István University is implementing a comprehensive programme centred on the development of an artificial intelligence-based freight optimisation system aimed at reducing carbon emissions in transport. The testing of the project’s results is carried out in industrial partnerships – including with major logistics companies – while the newly established laboratories and equipment at the institution provide the research and testing background.
