Two officials from the more than 120-year-old San Beda University in Manila have visited Széchenyi István University. Father Kelemen Sárai-Szabó, Prior of the Saint Maurus Benedictine priory in Győr, and University staff gave the representatives of the Philippines Benedictine institution a guided tour of the Győr campus.

In two and a half years, Audi will compete in Formula 1 for the first time with a power unit that Dávid Szegletes is also involved in designing. The young development engineer was prepared for this extraordinary task by his education in Vehicle Engineering and the student competition team of Széchenyi István University.

Széchenyi István University is not only home to outstanding academic achievements and successful career paths, but often plays an important role in the private lives of students as well. This was the case for two young Syrians, Maria and Bassel, who came to Győr on scholarship as spouses and became a family. The institution supports them in completing their studies.
