Széchenyi István University and the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Chamber of Commerce and Industry held the "Water We Wanted" ceremony on Saturday, which focused on the completion of the Mosoni-Duna estuary structure and the results of the Insula Magna complex water management and sustainable development programme launched last year to help develop Szigetköz and Csallóköz. At the event, the Ministry of Technology and Industry (TIM) signed a long-term cooperation agreement with the University and the Széchenyi István University Foundation.
Széchenyi István University is not just a workplace, but also a community in which family has a special place. The institution not only supports its employees, but also helps its students to balance their studies with raising children. It also organises intergenerational programmes and summer camps, runs a Mum and Baby room and provides financial support for families. The University's efforts in this area have again been recognised with the Family Friendly Workplace award.
Széchenyi István University not only acts as a link between the participants of the Territorial Innovation Platform, but also as a catalyst in the field of research, development and innovation. Through laboratory visits, the institution demonstrates the infrastructure via which it provides state-of-the-art services to its corporate partners. The success of the programme is demonstrated by the fact that, since its launch in 2019, nearly 100 companies have joined the platform, which also contributes to the economic development and competitiveness of the region.
