On the M44 motorway running between Kecskemét and Békéscsaba, a unique bridge crosses the river Tisza. The so-called cable-stayed bridge is not only unique in its appearance, but has also posed a number of technical challenges for professionals. Its designer, Dr Zoltán Teiter, lectures in bridge construction in the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Transport Sciences at Széchenyi István University, and says that those who graduate from Győr will acquire a strong foundation and practical knowledge that will help them to succeed in the profession.
