The Hungarian University-College National Championship or MEFOB Festival, will be held in Győr, Hungary, with more than a thousand participants in thirteen sports. The ambassadors of the event, students from the host Széchenyi István University - Dalma Sebestyén, Olympic swimmer, Bence Szabó, world and European silver medallist rower and Zalán Lang, captain of the Győr men's handball team - are raising awareness of the importance of physical activity and urging everyone to come to Győr to the biggest Hungarian university and college sports event.

Orsolya Lukács and Márk Szalay, students of the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics of Széchenyi István University, successfully participated in the 24th International Accounting Week in Lódz, Poland, where nearly 90 students from 15 European countries competed in teams of four. Their instructor, Dr. Katalin Borbély, successfully prepares the participants year after year.

Their participation was supported by the University's Erasmus+ mobility programme.

The teachers of the Albert Kázmér Faculty of Széchenyi István University won valuable professional awards at the Agriculturalist of the Year Awards, which brought together the best of the agricultural sector. This demonstrates the high quality of the institution's traditional and new areas of training and research related to sustainability and agricultural digitisation.
