Open Gates Educational Fair at Széchenyi István University
The Open Gates (Nyitott Kapuk) Education Fair was again held in the Aula of Széchenyi István University on Wednesday, 15 January 2020, from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm with more than 4,000 visitors in attendance.
Participants, who were mainly high school students, some together with parents, had the opportunity to learn about the wide choice of programmes – both Hungarian and English-taught – on offer for academic year 2020-2021. The full range of academic programmes at all levels was represented, from engineering programmes through law and economics to arts, teaching and the social sciences.
Visitors to the fair also had the opportunity to attend lectures on the academic programmes, as well as to go on laboratory and library visits and campus tours organised by the University Service Centre.
The various stands provided a wealth of information on education, sports, cultural and scientific opportunities as well as the admissions process. Colleagues from The Centre of International Programmes were also present at the Fair with comprehensive information on a whole range of scholarships for students who would like to spend a period studying abroad.
