SZE Signs Strategic Partnership with Bábolna Tetra Ltd. and Bábolna Brojler Ltd.

Széchenyi István University has signed a strategic agreement with Bábolna Tetra Ltd. and Bábolna Brojler Ltd., leading companies in Hungarian poultry farming, at the 37th Bábolna Farmers' Days. In addition to the implementation of the University’s practice-oriented education strategy, the cooperation includes the development of a portfolio of services for the agri-food industry and the competitive sector, as well as the deepening of R&D and innovation work.

The Széchenyi István University has signed a strategic agreement with Bábolna Tetra Ltd. and Bábolna Brojler Ltd., leading poultry farming companies in Hungary. The cooperation, signed at the 37th Bábolna Farmers’ Days, builds on existing partnerships and the good relationship of the companies with the Albert Kázmér Faculty in Mosonmagyaróvár. Bábolna Tetra Ltd. is the third largest hybrid layer breeding company in the world, with activities in around 60 countries. Bábolna Brojler Ltd. is a major player in the domestic meat hybrid-breeding sector, and the company has extensive international activities.

In addition to the Albert Kázmér Faculty of the University in Mosonmagyaróvár, representatives from the fields of engineering, information technology and economics are also involved in the professional cooperation. The expansion of the partnership is also justified by the growing number of students and the interdisciplinary research being carried out at the institution.

In the agreement, Bábolna Tetra Ltd. and Bábolna Brojler Ltd. agreed to contribute as a practical site for the high-quality education of Bachelor and Master students and engineers in further education. The two companies will also support their employees to participate in the professional training, postgraduate and doctoral programmes of Széchenyi István University.

In addition to their existing joint activities, the parties plan to launch new R&D and innovation projects and create new products in the future. The partnership's key objective is to ensure a supply of skilled professionals in precision technologies and digital solutions, which is essential for companies to maintain sustainable business performance, international competitiveness and continuous development.
