SZE Students Bolster Hungarian Team at Paris Olympics
Two students from Széchenyi István University competed at the Paris Olympics that ended on Sunday. Kincső Takács, a Bsc student in Tourism and Catering, finished 8th in the final of the women's canoe 200m single event. The canoeist from Győr missed out on immediate qualification in the preliminaries by a photo finish, but in the semi-finals she took fourth place, qualifying for the final.

Another Olympian student of Széchenyi University, Dalma Sebestyén, majoring in Sports and Recreation Management, competed in the 200 m medley, finishing 8th in the preliminary heat, thus not qualifying for the semi-finals.

Another member of the Uni-Győr Swimming Sports Association, which has a close relationship with Széchenyi István University, Szebasztián Szabó finished in 24th place in the 50m freestyle event.
