Széchenyi Stipendium Hungaricum Student receives Ministry award for video
Anas Hawari, a Stipendium Hungaricum student on the MSc Marketing Programme at Széchenyi István University, has been presented with a special award for a video produced for a campaign promoted on the Study in Hungary website.
The video was prepared for “See Your Host Day” held on 12th April 2019 and hosted by the Ministry of Human Capacities. Anas received his award in the course of the event during which the winning works were projected to the public. The original brief for the competition was to produce 30 second videos on the topic “This is My Hungary”, showing how Stipendium Hungaricum holders see Hungary and with an emphasis on being creative, personal and imaginative.
Anas’ concept for the video is based around a real-life relationship featuring two Széchenyi students whose story represents the love for Hungary felt by the producer of the video. The video reflects Anas’ strong conviction that during his stay in Hungary he has received not only knowledge but also an appreciation of diversity, acceptance and sharing, the last concept being echoed in the couple’s sharing of the langos.
An honoured guest at the event was Dr. Orsolya Pacsay-Tomassich, State Secretary for International Affairs, Ministry of Human Capacities.
