"In recent years, cooperation between the Law and Engineering faculties has become increasingly close. We have participated in many joint projects, whether on the legal regulation of self-driving cars, the ethical questions of artificial intelligence, or the legal and technological challenges of cybersecurity. These research and development efforts show that Law and Engineering Sciences can work hand in hand to solve the problems of the modern world," he emphasized. He added that Széchenyi István University recognizes that the future will not be shaped by a single discipline but by interdisciplinary research and innovative solutions based on cooperation and mutual respect across various fields.

At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, nearly 240 graduates received their diplomas.

In his address, Professor Dr Zoltán Horváth, Dean of the faculty, emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and continuous renewal. "To foster this renewal, the University continuously creates new programmes, often involving experts from leading companies in the field and incorporating our institution's latest research findings. In this spirit, this spring we are launching postgraduate programmes in aerial communications and radar technology, inaugurating a space and quantum communications laboratory and next year we will launch an interdisciplinary Master's programme in Artificial Intelligence," he listed.

In his address, András Kemler, Executive Director of Technical Areas at Robert Bosch Ltd., noted that this day is also a celebration for industrial stakeholders, as future innovations will be born through the contributions of the young professionals who have just graduated. "Bosch was founded more than 130 years ago as the realization of an engineering dream, driven by the founder's belief that technology and innovation could improve the world. This still drives us today as we focus on talent, just as Széchenyi University does," he emphasized. He added that their company is a partner of the University in providing practically applicable knowledge through various collaborative research and development projects, doctoral programmes and supporting student team projects. To strengthen this cooperation, they established an office at the University's Győr Innovation Park.
