Gyulay Zsolt, chairman of the Hungarian Olympic Committee (MOB) and president-CEO of the Hungaroring Zrt., who visited the institution, would consider close cooperation with Széchenyi István University useful in several areas. The sports manager praised the development of the university of Győr.
A system to reconstruct damaged or completely missing auricles without major surgery is being developed in cooperation between the Széchenyi István University of Győr, the University of Pécs and the University of Nuremberg. Models made with a 3D scanner will be shaped and moulded into the final form using image processing software.
The SZEnergy Team, the student team of Széchenyi István University developing electric vehicles took first places in Europe’s biggest energy efficiency competition ahead of the continent’s most prestigious universities in autonomous and the urban concept categories, beating their own last year’s world record in the latter category. The result shows the high quality of both practice-oriented trainings and talent management at the institution in Győr.
