Ten students and two lecturers from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Transport Sciences of the Széchenyi István University participated in a recent Erasmus workshop organised by the Politehnica University Timisoara. The programme, which focused on sustainable materials, provided the students with useful experience and the Győr-based institution with new international contacts.

Under the Scholarship Programme for Christian Young People (ÖKF), religious students living in a minority in their home country receive higher education support. The programme currently has 19 scholarship holders studying at Széchenyi István University, a group of whom recently visited Pannonhalma Abbey.

A delegation from the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics visited Győr to establish international higher education cooperation. The Chinese institution is mainly linked to SZE in the fields of economics and law, and its students will have the opportunity to study in the Asian port city in the future, even within the framework of an exchange programme.
