Széchenyi István University has secured a place among the top 400 universities in the European rankings, published on 20 September by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), an international higher education quality assessment organization. The institution's success is primarily attributed to its excellent corporate reputation and high interest among international students in part-time study programmes.
QS, one of the two largest international organizations that assess higher education institutions, released the European university rankings for the first time on 20 September. Széchenyi István University is included in the ranking, occupying the 382nd position.
Széchenyi István University in Győr is hosting an event based on the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) LinQ Catalyst methodology from 19 to 21 September, focusing on the exploration of unmet healthcare needs as the first step in developing a portfolio of research projects. The goal is to bring as many of these projects to fruition as possible, contributing to the advancement of medical science and improvement in health-related outcomes. During the event, 12 Catalyst EU fellows, scholarship recipients from seven countries, will be assisted by an equal number of mentors from the United States, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, and Hungary.
Széchenyi István University hosted the international workshop of the Horizon Dalia EU project recently, which was attended by nearly sixty participants from nine countries. The aim of the workshop was to find solutions to restore, protect and conserve our water ecosystems. As part of the programme, participants also visited key sites of the Szigetköz rehabilitation.
