The collaboration agreement signed on 31 August between Széchenyi István University, Győr, and thyssenkrupp Components Technology Hungary holds the promise of joint research, patents, and the potential creation of spin-off businesses. The collaboration is linked to the Scientific and Innovation Park project initiated by the University.
The Széchenyi István University Foundation is expanding its activities with two campuses in Zalaegerszeg and Budapest, where it is establishing scientific and research-development campuses. These campuses will not only house the newly structured innovation and business development holding and its affiliated companies but also welcome external businesses and partners. This will strengthen the effectiveness of collaborations, significantly increase the regional impact of the Széchenyi University Group, and contribute to the industrial utilization of scientific advancements.
In accordance with tradition, the academic year at Széchenyi István University, on both the Győr and Mosonmagyaróvár campuses, starts with a fantastic "zero week" with grand-scale events to ensure freshers get to know each other and the University. The aim of these events is also to forge a real sense of community among the participants by the end of the camps, as the newest members of the Széchenyi family.
