Circular Rector’s – Chancellor’s Circular No. 9/2020. on usage of university buildings
Based on the Government Decree 168/2020. (IV. 30.) §. 7. on safety measures during the pandemic, there is a possibility to allow students to use certain buildings of the university. However, complying with the current travel and dormitory restrictions is still compulsory.
Besides adhering to the current safety regulations in effect (e.g. wearing protective face covers and social distancing), from 6th May 2020 the following activities are permitted concerning students accessing university buildings:
- Project work not relating to subjects (e.g. student organisations, industrial co-operations etc.)
- Laboratory activities relating to thesis work, agreed in advance by the Head of the Laboratory.
- Making up for missed laboratory sesions. A possibility must be offered to student to make up for those subjects where the faculty has indicated that online teaching was not possible.
Conditions of organising laboratory practice:
- Laboratory sessions are only permitted on weekdays from 10-16 hours.
- Students should be given the opportunity to make all measurements belonging to one subject on one day.
- Each student should be given two separate days to do their laboratory session.
- The dates and conditions of laboratory sessions must be advertised on the Moodle page of the subject until May 11, 2020.
This present circular does not modify the previously issued order on examinations and the circular No. 7/2020 stipulating these exam regulations also remains in effect.
Closing provisions
The university will provide information in the form of circulars concerning any occurring changes. For further information, please follow our communication platforms as well. The present circular enters into effect on the day of its publication and will remain in effect until it is revoked.
