Széchenyi István University has launched a unique, English-taught Master’s programme in Motorsport Engineering, the only one of its kind in Central Europe. The inaugural cohort consists of eleven students who have recently commenced their studies. Among the faculty are several professionals with Formula 1 experience, as well as engineers from teams that have won world championships in other branches of motorsport.

The first cohort of the Master's programme includes 18 students from the South Asian country who, upon completion, will receive diplomas from both institutions. The students currently spending the semester in Győr can also enjoy familiar flavours from home, as from 1st March the University is expanding the menu of its Paneer restaurant, located in the ETO Park shopping centre, to include Indian dishes, which will be available to all.

The nearly one-billion-forint project includes the creation of a smart garden for educational, demonstration, and research purposes, the expansion of the dairy processing facility’s technology, and the implementation of demonstration programmes. Diseased trees that need to be removed will be replaced with fruit trees, medicinal and spice plants, as well as ornamental and garden trees.
