"We have made some good decisions in our lives. One of them was to choose Széchenyi István University," admits Brian and Judit, who grew up on different continents but crossed paths in the city of rivers. The boy from Ottawa and the girl from Zalaegerszeg met through the international community of the Győr University - a meeting that blossomed into love and a marriage. Here is their story.

Sustainability and circular economy were the focus of recent student innovation projects at Széchenyi István University. The young people came up with innovative solutions to four real-world business and organisational problems, with one team, for example, carrying out an energy audit of the Győr ice rink, which could help the club make significant savings.

The Széchenyi István University is an active participant of the Hungarian transport science scene, which is proven by the prestigious awards of the Transport Science Association, one of the largest national technical-scientific civil associations in Hungary. The professional association has honoured the activities of five staff members and one master's student of the institution.
