An Uzbek student from Széchenyi István University has won the prize for the best presentation in English at a professional conference on business informatics. The success is not only an example of the institution's traditional strength in technical and computer science disciplines, but also of the great strides it has made in recent years in internationalisation, with a student community composed of young people from 65 countries.
Almost 400 students from 16 countries representing 26 teams participated in this weekend’s Formula Student Symposium, organized by Széchenyi István University. Engineering legends with previous experience in Formula 1 teams presented, showcasing the breadth and strength of the institution’s international network. Following the conference, the University is also hosting the Formula Student Online competition on 4 December.
Széchenyi István University participated in the Regional University Network's programme in Ireland with a delegation of teachers, students and representatives of associated partners. The event included training sessions on sustainability and concluded with a general assembly of the organisation.
