Széchenyi István University has earned the qualification of “family-friendly workplace” in a tender. The right to use this label was preceded by a thorough procedure.

Dr Péter Földesi, Rector of Széchenyi István University has conferred professorial appointments on Dr Gergely Deli (Ferenc Deák Faculty of Law), Dr György Déri (Faculty of Performance Arts), Dr Tamás Hardi (Faculty of Business and Economics) and Dr Zsolt Kalló (Faculty of Performance Arts). 

In 2017, Széchenyi István University won HUF 1 billion 820 million in European Union funding for the energy development of its sites in Győr. Of these, the administrative building has already been modernized, while other buildings featuring in the tender will be renovated this year and next.
