Within the framework of internationalisation (project number: EFOP-3.6.1-16-2016-00017) Dr. Monika Foltyn-Zarychta and Dr. Rafal Bula from the Faculty of Finance and Investments of UEK visited our University. Their invitation was initiated by Dr. Katalin Vagáné Kiss, who has participated at the International Week “New Frontiers in Finance and Accounting” organised by UEK several times in recent years.
The guest lecturers’ visit aimed at strengthening cooperation, enhancing joint research and teaching activities, as well as, sharing experience and best practice. During their stay the lecturers met the authorities of the University including Dr. Eszter Lukács, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Adrienn Reisinger, Vice-Dean for Scientific Research, Dr. Éva Happ, Vice-Dean for International Affairs of Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics, Dr. Gábor Kovács, Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs and research group leader, Dr. Melinda Hajdú-Smáhó and Dr. Norbert Kovács, academics.

The Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), together with The Hungary Initiatives Foundation (HIF), is now accepting applications for the Andrássy National Security Fellowship - asix-month fellowship program aimed at cultivating the next generation of Hungarian strategic thinkers committed to strengthening ties between Hungary and the United States.
During their time in Washington, Andrássy Fellows will be paired with a specific CEPA program – Strategy and Statecraft, Strengthening Frontline Security, StratCom and Bolstering Atlanticism.
Fellows will have the opportunity to showcase their research findings via podcasts, expert roundtable discussions, and written policy briefs. Andrássy Fellows will participate in outreach to the U.S. policy and expert communities.
Fellows will also work with core CEPA staff on a full spectrum of think tank processes including, policy briefings, brainstorming sessions, networking, and program planning and administration. CEPA will provide a $3000 monthly stipend, cover roundtrip travel to Washington, D.C., and provide assistance for the Fellow’s visa application process.
