Leading representatives of the Chinese automotive company NIO were introduced to the activities of Széchenyi István University, a leader in technical fields. Delegation members were impressed by the institution's infrastructure and its training and research portfolio.
Széchenyi István University is an important player in drone research. This field was strengthened last year when the institution, together with ABZ Drone Kft. and MIB Invest Group Kft., founded a new company, ABZ Innovation Kft., for the development and production of drones and related accessories. With the recently signed syndicate agreement, the company has reached an important milestone in its history, and soon another one will follow: the market launch of the first drone developed by the company.
Preparation for school garden education is part of the teacher training in Győr. Széchenyi István University, as one of the Hungarian centres of the topic, hosted the international programme week “School Garden goes Europe”, which was realised within the framework of the Erasmus+ strategic partnership project. Its main objective is to enable as many children as possible to benefit from the positive effects of school gardens and kindergarten gardens by bringing together school garden experts and sharing knowledge.
