At Széchenyi István University, Győr, as part of World Telecommunications Day, Huawei Technologies Hungary gave a presentation of its new technology, enabling broadband internet to reach households much faster than previously. Operating on up to 5G, AirPON combines wired and wireless technology to help telecom service providers deliver the Internet wirelessly from a given cable endpoint to homes, public buildings and industrial buildings - reducing network deployment time by up to a third. Hungary will be the third country in Europe to have such technology, which will be next year widely employed on a global scale.
All international students studying in Hungary can register for the coronavirus vaccine, including those on Stipendium Hungaricum scholarships, self-funded students and Erasmus+ exchange programme students. At Széchenyi István University, several young people have already taken the opportunity and received the vaccination.
A team who two years ago received an investment in SZE’s startup programme has been presented with a prestigious international award for their artificial intelligence-based traffic management and accident prevention system. By setting a good example, team members want to encourage young people with an entrepreneurial spirit to achieve their dreams.
