Széchenyi István University is launching a much-needed Master’s programme in Health Psychology in Western Hungary starting this February in a correspondence format, designed to address the region's demand in this field. The two-year programme, offered by the Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences, will commence in Hungarian in the spring semester, while an English-taught, full-time version will be available for international students from the autumn semester onward.

Two students from Széchenyi István University, Fanni Lőrincz and Balázs Szőnyi, have developed a solution based on artificial intelligence models that allows the user to talk to the device as if it were a living human being. Their aim was primarily to help socially isolated people and people with mental illnesses and to prevent the development of such illnesses. Their application recently won the BoschxRichter Gedeon Industrial Innovation Award.

Budapest Design Week is an event of international importance, presenting all areas of the Hungarian design profession, which will be organised by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency from 10 to 20 October this year. As part of the series of events, design students from Széchenyi István University had the opportunity to present their work in a group exhibition. The Kautz Conference on Business and Economics, held between 10 and 12 October, brought together researchers from twenty-one countries from four continents to present their work on global challenges and to develop academic links.
