Regional University Network launched with Széchenyi István University on board
One of the strategic goals of Széchenyi István University is internationalization, and now this process is being given new impetus by the fact that the institution, together with seven European partners, has successfully participated in the tender announced by the European Commission within the framework of the European Universities Initiative. Over the next three years, there will be exchanges, joint training courses and R&D projects.
A RECORD - FORMULA STUDENT SYMPOSIUM AT SZÉCHENYI ISTVÁN UNIVERSITY FEATURING 28 INTERNATIONAL TEAMS
Organized by Széchenyi István University, a record number of almost five hundred students and 28 international teams took part in the sixth Formula Student Symposium, demonstrating the strength of the international connections of a leading institution in automotive engineering education. Renowned Formula 1 engineers also gave lectures to both Hungarian students and students from countries including the United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, Belgium and France.

A student is the first in Hungary to transmit an X-ray image via 5G
Róbert Varga, a student of Széchenyi István University in Győr, has transmitted high-resolution X-rays for the first time in Hungary via a 5G network, for which Innomed Medical, Vodafone Hungary and the National Media and Info-Communications Authority (NMHH) provided professional and technological assistance. This healthcare innovation opens up new perspectives for different remote diagnostic procedures.

Milán Horváth has received a lot from Széchenyi István University, now he is giving something back
Gratitude is also due to Milán Horváth, an electrical engineer and former student of Széchenyi István University, for the recent high-value donation from the Győr branch of Siemens Zrt. in support of the educational activities of the University. The engineer, who organized the donation, offers his help wherever possible. Nowadays, after finishing his working day at Siemens, he volunteers for the National Ambulance Service.
