The Audi Development Camp, a summer training programme jointly organised by Széchenyi István University and Audi Hungaria, is waiting for engineering and economics students looking for professional development and challenges this August. During the week-long English-language programme, teams of Hungarian and international young people will have to solve a project task related to an electric drivetrain.
The University is developing a Health Technology Campus in the former hospital complex located in Zrínyi Street, Győr, and the first building is now almost complete. The current state of the large-scale development was inspected by members of the senior management of the University and the mayor of the city, Dr Csaba András Dézsi.
Széchenyi István University signed a cooperation agreement with Audi Hungaria School on 8 May. Under the agreement, students of the school's dual vocational training programme will be able to take advantage of the possibility of credit transfer in the university's Bachelor's degree programmes in Business and Management and Commerce and Marketing, which can significantly shorten their time spent studying.

Széchenyi István University has entered into a partnership with the Diocese of Győr to strengthen education, talent management and career guidance. The agreement, signed on 18 April, covers a total of seven primary and secondary schools. The student team of the Deák Ferenc Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Széchenyi István University has achieved the best results ever in the European regional final of the annual international space law moot court competition. Nearly half a thousand competitors from 20 countries competed for the championship titles at the Olympic qualification national championships held in the Duna Arena in Budapest between 9-12 April. The third and final round of the three-game final was held on 14 April at the Győr Ice Sports Centre. The team of Széchenyi István University, UNI Győr ETO HC, competed for the Andersen League Challenge Cup against Lehel HC from Jászberény and won it with their third victory.
László Barabás, painter, graphic artist and highly valued lecturer of the predecessor of the Széchenyi István University's Apáczai Csere János Faculty of Pedagogy, Humanities and Social Sciences, has been awarded the M5 Art Salon Prize for his half centtury contribution to and his participation in the multifaceted shaping of Győr's artistic life. This year's Digital Agricultural Fair, one of the most important agricultural events in the region, was held at the Széchenyi István University's Albert Kázmér Faculty of Mosonmagyaróvár, on 10 April. Among the exhibitors were the most important market players of the sector, as well as the research and educational units of the university. The aim of the programme is to enable the future generation of young farmers to learn about and apply digitisation and precision farming solutions to the whole food production process.
The April Job Fair of Széchenyi István University was very popular among the students of the institution, who had the opportunity to get in touch with nearly fifty companies and institutions. Many of the young people find their internships and even jobs at the biannual event.
The satellite construction section of the SZESAT Interdisciplinary Special College of the Széchenyi István University has achieved a significant international success by being the first Hungarian university team to qualify for the European Space Agency (ESA) Fly Your Satellite! programme. At a workshop in the Netherlands, the students of the institution presented the current stage of their SZESAT-1 satellite.
Széchenyi István University is striving to become the number one higher education institution in Hungary in the field of motor sport. In this spirit, the Uni Győr WMS go-kart team was established at the beginning of the year, which was announced at a press conference on 28 March. Patrik Lipovics was also introduced at the event, the KMS Europe karting team's driver and winner of last year's RMC Hungary championship, who will also be working more closely with the university in the future.

The Hungarian University-College National Championship or MEFOB Festival, will be held in Győr, Hungary, with more than a thousand participants in thirteen sports. The ambassadors of the event, students from the host Széchenyi István University - Dalma Sebestyén, Olympic swimmer, Bence Szabó, world and European silver medallist rower and Zalán Lang, captain of the Győr men's handball team - are raising awareness of the importance of physical activity and urging everyone to come to Győr to the biggest Hungarian university and college sports event.
Orsolya Lukács and Márk Szalay, students of the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics of Széchenyi István University, successfully participated in the 24th International Accounting Week in Lódz, Poland, where nearly 90 students from 15 European countries competed in teams of four.
